Teneriffe (approximately 2.2 kilometres)
From the Brisbane Powerhouse, travel along Lamington Street and Refinery Parade to the river and Cutter's Landing boardwalk. From here you can follow the boardwalk past Amity House and Freshwater Apartments to Merthyr Road.
At the end of Merthyr Road, leave the river edge and travel along Macquarie Street to access the next section of boardwalk. You can follow the boardwalk and riverside path to Commercial Road and the Teneriffe Ferry Stop. The cross-river ferry to Oxford Street, Bulimba leaves from this stop.
Sections of the boardwalk are yet to be built between Powerhouse Park and the recently opened boardwalk at Cutter's Landing (the former CSR Refinery). The Council is currently designing this link and plans to build this part of the boardwalk connection in the future (subject to funding).
The missing section of boardwalk between Commercial Road and Mariner's Reach will be built as private riverside development goes ahead.

New Farm (approximately 3.5 kilometres)
New Farm's RiverWalk section connects the city centre to New Farm Park. This section starts at the boardwalks near Boundary Street and runs through the old Howard Smith Wharves to the floating walkway. The Council will redevelop these wharves in the future.
The surface of the floating walkway rises and falls with the tide, sitting about 600 millimetres above the river's surface. Along the walkway, you'll enjoy spectacular views of Brisbane's iconic Story Bridge and the city. The floating walkway opens to allow boats to access the Brisbane River. When this happens your journey will be interrupted for a short while.
The floating walkway connects back to land at Merthyr Road. From Merthyr Road travel along Griffith Street and Sydney Street to Merthyr Park and the Sydney Street Ferry Terminal.
You can travel back to the city centre on the CityCat or continue through Merthyr Park and via Oxlade Drive to New Farm Park and the Brisbane Powerhouse.

Kangaroo Point (approximately 1.7 kilometres)
From the Thornton Street Ferry Terminal, travel through the riverside parkland and local roads to connect to the Holman Street Ferry Terminal and Captain Burke Park, which is located beneath the Story Bridge.
From Captain Burke Park you can travel along the riverside paths to Dockside where the riverside path ends at Cairns Street.
From Dockside you can catch the Inner City Ferry Service across the river to Sydney Street. Alternatively, you can catch the ferry back to the Riverside Ferry Terminal and follow the boardwalks back to the city centre.
The Council is currently designing the link between the Thornton and Holman Street Ferry Terminals and will build this connection in the future subject to funding.

City (approximately 1.4 kilometres)
Walk or cycle along the riverside boardwalks to Eagle Street Pier and the Riverside Centre. The centre is the home of the vibrant Riverside markets, held every weekend. From Riverside, you can also take in views of Brisbane's iconic Story Bridge.
For now, you'll need to leave the boardwalks near the Riverside Centre and travel via Eagle Street to rejoin the boardwalk at Boundary Street. From there, you can continue on to New Farm.
Work is currently underway to build a new section of boardwalk that will complete the section between Eagle Street Pier and the Riverside Centre.

Kangaroo Point Cliffs (approximately 1.7 kilometres)
At the Kangaroo Point cliffs, follow the riverside paths and boardwalk to the Thornton Street Ferry Terminal.

From Guyatt Park, catch a CityCat to the Regatta Ferry Terminal at Toowong or walk/cycle along suburban St Lucia streets to the Bicentennial Bikeway.
