Queensland Urban Utilities
New water and wastewater business, Queensland Urban Utilities is being launched as a result of the state government's restructure of the water industry. Brisbane, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim and Somerset councils are working together to form the new business.
Residential permanent water conservation measures
Queensland Water Commission introduced permanent water conservation measures for residential premises on 1 December 2009. Read about when you can water gardens and lawns, wash cars and fill pools.
