City Hall is in critical need of repair. Brisbane City Council has partnered with the National Trust of Queensland to restore this iconic building for future generations. 

From January 2010, City Hall will close for three years for urgent repair and upgrade.

During this time, many City Hall Services and Brisbane's Civic Administration have relocated to 157 Ann St, Brisbane. This includes:

  • Office of the Lord Mayor
  • Deputy Mayor
  • Lord Mayor's Administration
  • Council Chambers
  • Museum of Brisbane
  • community groups
