This interactive tool helps you identify species and explore the different habitats that make up the Boondall Wetlands.
This tool has been developed by a Brisbane resident.

heart of Boondall Wetlands Reserve at 31 Paperbark Drive, Boondall. The centre is:
- open Monday to Sunday from 8.30am to 4pm
- closed on public holidays or for activities

Facilities
The facilities include:
- an information desk, display area and interpretive material
- meeting room available for hire to community, corporate and government groups
- picnic facilities (no barbecues), toilets, parking and wheelchair access
- walking tracks, bike tracks, bird hides and a canoe launch ramp
Things to do
People of all ages can use the centre to learn about:
- the flora and fauna of Boondall Wetlands
- the importance of wetlands to the community and the environment
- ways you can assist in preserving natural areas
You can also:
- learn more about Brisbane's natural areas by participating in Councils 'Get Wild – Go Natural in Brisbane’ program
- contact the centre for more information about booking a curriculum-based environmental learning program available for school students
- stroll through the different wetland habitats which occur within the reserve, have a picnic with friends and family
- take a canoe trip through Boondall Wetlands (bring your own canoe/kayak)
- loan a "self-guided" walking track booklet from the centre to learn about the plants and animals of the reserve (please bring photographic identification)
- go on a free guided walk with a volunteer guide
- go on a bike ride through the wetlands to Nudgee Beach
- learn about Indigenous culture through Indigenous art totems and observe numerous bird species
