Brisbane Sexual Assault Service

This service operates 24 hours a day to give advice, medical help, support and information about emergency birth control.

Children by Choice

This service provides information, counselling, referral and education services on all unplanned pregnancy options.

This association provides general advice about family planning and has a program dealing with female genital mutilation.

Othilla's: Young Women's Housing and Support Service

Othilla's provides counselling and short-term, non-emergency housing for women up to the age of 25. There is a waiting list.

This service provides information about unplanned pregnancy, abortion and other women's health queries.

Sexual Assault Crisis Line

Women who have been sexually assaulted can call this 24 hour service. Medical treatment and the gathering of forensic evidence can be arranged. Counselling is provided.

Women's Cancer Screening Services

Free breast cancer testing is available to all women over the age of 40.

Women's Legal Service

This service is run by women for women and provides legal advice, domestic violence counselling and short-term support.
