Due to major upgrades and maintenance work, the Planetarium will be closed from Monday, 25 January to Monday, 8 March inclusive.

The Planetarium is closed on public holidays.

Booking office telephone hours

The Planetarium will be closed from Monday, 25 January to Monday, 8 March 2010 inclusive.

During this time, the booking office can be contacted on 07 3403 2578, from Tuesday to Friday, between 10am and 12.30pm and 1pm and 4pm.

From 9 March, the booking office telephone hours will be:

Getting there

The Planetarium is located within the Brisbane Botanic Gardens - Mt Coot-tha. It is a 15 minute drive from the city centre. The main car park and entrance is off Mt Coot-tha Road, Toowong. Free on-site parking, including disabled and bus parking, is available.

You can catch a bus to the Planetarium. From the city, take bus 471, or the Great City Circle bus (598 or 599) from various suburbs. For public transport information visit TransLink Link leaves Council's website .
