ClimateSmart Home Service
Brisbane City Council, through its Green Heart CitySmart environmental program, is offering Brisbane residents $50 cash-back when they use the Queensland Government's ClimateSmart Home Service. This makes the service free.
All Brisbane residents (both tenants and owner/occupiers) who have had the ClimateSmart Home Service completed in their home will be eligible for the rebate.
To claim your rebate, complete the application form and submit to Council along with your ClimateSmart Home Service receipt. Council will then send you a $50 cheque.

Why use the ClimateSmart Home Service
Using the ClimateSmart Home Service will help you to reduce your household greenhouse gas emissions and lower your energy bills, making a contribution to a sustainable, clean and green Brisbane future.
As part of the service you will receive:
- a wireless energy monitor installed by a licensed electrician
- an energy audit of your home
- a free water and energy efficient showerhead (where appropriate)
- up to 15 free energy efficient light globes
- a customised energy and water efficiency management plan
