Brisbane Planning and Development Online

Welcome to Brisbane City Council’s PD Online, an online Planning and Development System containing the following services

For submissions, the alternate methods of lodgement are:

  1. Lodging a submission in person at any of Council's Regional Business Centres and Customer Service Centres; or
  2. Lodging your submission in writing to Council via the mail at GPO Box 1434, BRISBANE QLD 4001

Urban Land Development Authority (ULDA)

Under the Urban Land Development Authority Act 2007, the ULDA is responsible for the planning and assessment of development in declared Urban Development Areas (UDAs) across the State. The development assessment process stated in the Act differs from the current provisions and timeframes specified in the Integrated Planning Act 1997.

Within Brisbane the Declared Urban Development Area are:

Bowen Hills (regulatory map - PDF- 400KB) - Declared 27 March 2008
Northshore Hamilton (regulatory map - PDF- 430KB) - Declared 27 March 2008
Fitzgibbon (regulatory map - PDF- 738KB) - Declared 24 July 2008

The Urban Land Development Authority maintains a register independent of Brisbane City Council's  register of :

Please Note: Customers may experience difficulty lodging submissions online for certain development applications during periods of extraordinarily high activity.

Council recommends that customers make their submissions well before the closing date for submissions in order to avoid any potential difficulty.
