Dispute a fine

You can dispute your fine issued by Council by following the steps below. We aim to provide a full response by post within 20 working days.

You cannot dispute your fine online if you want to name another driver in relation to the fine. You'll need to download, print and complete the statutory declaration (PDF-127kb) to indicate you were not the driver. This must be mailed to Brisbane City Council, GPO Box 589, Brisbane 4001.
