Sandbag volunteers to register with Volunteering Queensland

Brisbane City Council wishes to advise residents that any volunteers able to lend a hand helping Council crews filling sandbags today, should register their details with Volunteering Queensland.

People keen to lend a hand are asked not to turn up at sandbag locations direct without being first instructed by Volunteering Queensland due to workplace health and safety requirements.

If you would like to volunteer, you can do so by registering with Volunteering Queensland or 1800 994 100 or via the Volunteering website.
