Residents urged to take care in parks

28 January, 2013

Brisbane City Council is urging residents to take care at city parks as a result of the ongoing severe weather event.

Consistent rainfall and strong winds over the past few days has created potentially hazardous conditions for park users.

Residents are encouraged to assess the safety of the park and exercise caution before using any equipment.

Council resources are currently focused on clearing debris and responding to urgent issues across the city. Council will assess each affected park over the next few days.
