General tender conditions
Contract Standards (general)
The following current Contract Standards are used by Council and may be referred to in any:
- Expression of Interest (EOI)
- Request for Tender (RFT)
- Request for Proposal (RFP)
- Panel Agreement
- Preferred Supplier Agreement
- Request for Applications (RFA) under which Council is establishing a Register of Pre-qualified Suppliers for such specified works, goods and/or services as detailed or described in the RFA
Where any of the above documents seek to import one or more of the following Contract Standards, this may be done by reference to the web address(es) of the relevant Contract Standard(s).
The Contract Standards currently available are in relation to (1) Construction and (2) Goods and/or Services. These documents are separated in tenders advertised:
Conditions of Quotation
These Conditions of Quotation may be used when undertaking a Request for Quotation (RFQ) process. Brisbane City Council reserves the right to use alternative Conditions of Quotation.

Conditions of Contract (RFQs only)
These Conditions of Contract are for the provision of goods and services through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) process. Conditions of Contract for procurement of items other than goods and services through an RFQ process is under development.

Requests for Tenders
The documents associated with the issuing of Requests for Tender (RFT) are:
- The RFT Form will contain all relevant details in relation to a Request for Tender. When completed, it will also contain the Tender Information (for example, information to be submitted by a Tenderer in its Tender response).
- The RFT Conditions set the terms and conditions upon which a Request for Tender process will be conducted by Council.
