Living in Brisbane 2026

Brisbane City Council's nine programs were developed to implement Council's Corporate Plan and over time help Brisbane achieve Council's long term community plan - Our Shared Vision: Living in Brisbane 2026. Council and the community are working together to tackle issues such as:

more people calling Brisbane home
fuel prices continuing to change
the global challenge of climate change
skill shortages across many industries

In late 2005 Council released our long-term community plan, Our shared vision - Living in Brisbane 2026 for the future of Brisbane.
