Brisbane City Council maintains 12 cemeteries and three crematoria for people of the Brisbane area. 

Our facilities provide venues for burials and cremations and many of our cemeteries offer memorials for ashes. Our memorial chapels with function rooms are available for private services.


Grave location search

Memorial chapels

Memorial chapels are located within the grounds of the Pinnaroo, Hemmant and Mount Gravatt cemeteries and are suitable for all types of funeral services. Function rooms are also available.


Memorial plaques and urns

Council offers a range of plaques for graves and ash memorials, as well as memorial urns.

Burial options

Council offers three types of burial sites, being lawn burials, lawn beam burials and monumental burials.

Pre-purchasing burial sites

Pre-purchasing a burial site with Council ensures that you pay at today's current prices with no further costs.

Memorials for ashes

Council offers a range of ash memorials to provide a thoughtful remembrance.
