Brisbane City Council's Community Development and Capacity Building Grants provide funding to local non-profit groups to improve and develop services that respond to local and city-wide issues in Brisbane.
Projects that achieve one or more of the following criteria may be eligible for funding:
Funding amounts range from $2000 to $10,000.
This grant is now open for applications. Submissions close 16 February 2015. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by mid-May 2015.
Applicants must be a not-for-profit incorporated organisation, or be under the auspices of a not-for-profit incorporated organisation and able to accept legal and financial responsibility for the project or activity.
Applicants must not have any outstanding debts or overdue unacquitted grants with Council.
The online system allows you to save, develop and print out your application before submitting.
Successful applicants must abide by the full terms and conditions of the grant. Terms and conditions are outlined in your funding agreement.
If your application is successful, you will be required to complete an online acquittal form within 12 months of grant approval notification.
Grant recipients with overdue acquittal reports are not eligible to apply for other Council grants.
