Rubbish tips
Brisbane City Council operates four transfer stations (rubbish tips) and the Brisbane Tip Shop. Use your waste vouchers to dispose of large items, green waste or extra waste at any Council transfer station, or you can use the free kerbside collection service for large item collection.
Transfer stations (rubbish tips)
Transfer stations are open from 6.30am to 5.45pm every day of the year, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Locations
Vehicles with a registered gross vehicle mass (RGVM) greater than 4.5 tonnes must use the major transfer stations at Willawong and Nudgee.
