Lost Property

If you have left an item in a Brisbane City Council library, phone Council on 07 3403 8888. Council keeps lost property at the library where it was found for two months, excluding perishables such as food.

If an owner of the property can be determined, library staff will attempt to contact them. Photos, letters, bills and very damaged items will be discared after two months. Money not claimed within two months will be given to the person who found it.

After this time, all other items will be transferred to Council's Lost Property office, located at the Library and Customer Centre, Brisbane Square.
