King George Square
The redevelopment of King George Square is now complete. The Lord Mayor officially reopened the square on 25 October 2009.
The new design has created a space that reflects the historic values of the city, as well as King George Square's evolving role as a destination, transit hub and ceremonial and civic heart of the city.
Located adjacent to Brisbane City Hall, King George Square makes an ideal outdoor venue for events and functions.
