Parks vehicle access

Vehicle access is not generally available in Brisbane City Council parks, but may be negotiated at Council's discretion for vehicles delivering equipment.

Wedding vehicles are not permitted to be driven into Council parkland.

A security bond may apply for any vehicle requiring access into parkland. If your vehicle causes damage to the parkland, Council may keep part or all of the security bond to fix the damage.

To request vehicle access for delivery of equipment for your park function you must:

Your request will be acknowledged within two working days of Council receiving your application which may take up to 10 working days to be processed.

If approved, you will need a $55 security bond to collect a gate key.

Vehicle access to the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha is sometimes restricted due to maintenance work.
