New Farm Park park booking sites

New Farm Park is one of Brisbane's favourite parks for bookings. There are four park booking sites available for special events of short duration. New Farm Park includes a mass display of roses. Jacarandas line the ring road and the park's centre includes poincianas. The park is adjacent to the Brisbane Powerhouse.

Park bookings

Bookings only apply to the:

  • park booking site you choose in the park, and
  • use of any facilities in that designated site such as a rotunda or power (if available).

You cannot book barbecues, shelters (other than rotundas marked) or playgrounds for your specific use. Your group is free to share these facilities with other park visitors. Power points may have different phases (i.e. operate on different voltages). It is advisable to check your electronic equipment's compatibility before your event.

Council does not permit jumping castles. Restrictions on the number and size of marquees (and similar structures) apply for designated sites.

In some parks, as well as the booking site/s, there may be some alternative bookable areas. Submit an application and Council will contact you regarding the suitability of the park for the event, availability and fees.
