Construction being undertaken in 2013
Development of the park is continuing in 2013. The works will include:
- second large picnic shelter
- shared pedestrian/bicycle link to Benhiam Street
- youth space with multi-use half court
Construction is scheduled to commence in April and be completed by August 2013.
The public toilet block at Calamvale District Park includes a changing facility with a ceiling hoist for people with disabilities. This facility is secured with the MLAK key system.
The MLAK key system is a national system which enables Council to provide a higher level of facility than would otherwise be possible in a public park. It provides access to the facility for people who genuinely need to use it.
