Current closures

The following closures or detours are currently in place:

Anzac Park bikeway, Toowong - Legacy Way minor works

Legacy Way will soon undertake minor works beside the bikeway through Anzac Park at Toowong (from Dean Street to the Centenary Highway). The work will involve digging trenches and pipe laying. There may be some disruption to the bikeway in non-peak hours to allow equipment and materials to be transported to the site as the work progresses along the bikeway.

Cyclists and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution when using the pathway/bikeway. The work is expected to commence on 30 April 2012 and continue for up to two months (if required).

For further information, phone Legacy Way on 1800 778 772.

CityReach Boardwalk - fence replacement

Replacement of the final sections of fencing along the CityReach Boardwalk will commence on Monday, 23 January 2012 and will continue through to the end of May 2012. The work will be done in stages, commencing at the Eagle Street Pier ramp and then continuing from Admiralty Towers to Customs House and ending at Eagle Street Pier.

Safety fencing will be installed at each work section to allow the old fencing to be removed and new fencing to be erected. The works may involve welding.

Disruption to cyclists and pedestrians will be kept to a minimum.  Users should expect minor inconvenience and delays.
