Mount Gravatt East Aquatic Centre

Mt Gravatt East Aquatic Centre, located within the grounds of Mt Gravatt East State School, has a range of great facilities for fun and fitness for the whole community. There's an indoor pool, with a ramp and wheelchair access, that is heated to 32 degrees all year round.  There is also an outdoor, 25 metre, salt water pool that is heated to 27 degrees throughout the year.

Pool safety

Council supports the Keep Watch public education program of the Royal Life Saving Society - Australia. This program is aimed at preventing drowning deaths of children under five years in all aquatic locations.

For 0-5 year olds, a parent or guardian should be in the water at all times within arms' reach of the child.

For 6-10 year olds, constant active supervision is required. Be prepared to get wet and enter the water with this age group.
