Get active and healthy by joining Brisbane City Council’s Gonewalking program with more than 80 free walks held across Brisbane every week. Walking is a fun, cheap way of getting fit and keeping active. There are hundreds of walking trails across Brisbane including shared paths and bushwalking trails. Council has created a number of interesting public art trails and heritage trails.
Gonewalking is delivered by trained volunteers Walk Organisers from the Heart Foundation on behalf of Council. The Heart Foundation also runs Heart Foundation Walking - a free community-based walking program.
