Walking trails
Walking is the most basic form of exercise and it costs as little as a pair of good walking shoes. Brisbane City Council encourages you to follow an active lifestyle with the many walking trails available throughout Brisbane. To enjoy the benefits of walking:
- plan your route and pack lightly
- wear a pair of comfortable shoes
- protect yourself from the sun with a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
- buy a pedometer to record your distance in steps and keep you motivated
Heritage walking trail
Brisbane City Council has a heritage trail known as Reflections on the River. This walking trail takes you on a journey around the riverfront areas of Brisbane's CBD.
It gives residents and visitors an understanding and awareness of the heritage of Brisbane and the role the Brisbane River has played in Brisbane's history.
