The Infrastructure contributions planning scheme policies (PSPs) apply for developments approved between 1 July 2007 and 30 June 2011. These policies were superseded with the introduction of adopted infrastructure charges. The policies remain applicable to development approved and conditioned to provide contributions under these planning scheme policies. For applications approved after 30 June 2011, refer to Brisbane adopted infrastructure charges.
Contributions under the planning schemes are based on infrastructure contribution units (ICUs).

In 2014-15, the value of an ICU for the waterways, transport, community purposes, water supply and wastewater (sewerage) networks in the Rochedale Infrastructure Contributions Planning Scheme Policy is $1.92.

From 1 July 2010, Queensland Urban Utilities (QUU) has been responsible for setting water supply and wastewater (sewerage) infrastructure contributions. Brisbane City Council will continue to apply the existing policies at the rates described on behalf of QUU. For water supply and wastewater contribution enquiries and calculations, contact Council.
