Howard Smith Wharves
Prior to the Brisbane January 2011 flood event, Brisbane City Council had commenced construction of parklands to transform Howard Smith Wharves into one of the city's defining features. While these works were placed on hold as a consequence of the flood event, Council is still committed to restoring this unused site to ensure Howard Smith Wharves is a popular parkland destination on the Brisbane River.
