When parking in Brisbane, be it in the CBD or in a residential street, there are general rules that you need to remember. These rules ensure all roads and footpaths can be used safely by other motorists and pedestrians.

There are a number of Traffic and Parking Control Areas in place where area-wide time limits apply. If you intend to stay longer than the area-wide time limit, metered parking zones and off-street carparks may allow you to park for longer.
