Gladstone Road, Highgate Hill

The Beaconsfield Street 12 outbound bus stop on Gladstone Road in Highgate Hill will close permanently after investigations into the user safety of the site.

The bus stop will be closed to the public from Wednesday, 27 April 2011. From this date, further demolition and corrective works will be undertaken to restore the site to a full roadway.

  • Phase 1 - remove bus stop pole and seat
  • Phase 2 - demolish access stairs and restore landscaping
  • Phase 3 - restore no stopping yellow line and remove bus zone line marking
  • Phase 4 - replace safety barrier to close off boarding platform from the roadway

Alternative bus stops are available along Gladstone Road.
