Personalised public transport

Personalised public transport (PPT) operates in areas where TransLink services are restricted. Black and White Cabs provide wheelchair accessible and air conditioned maxi-cabs.

PPT services:

• carry up to 10 people
• pick up passengers where safe to do so on a fixed route

PPT is different to the Council cab service.

Fares

All PPT fares are $1 each way (no concessions apply). Children under 5 years and legally blind people travel free.

Customers who transfer from a PPT to a TransLink service must then pay the TransLink fare.

Routes

Brisbane City Council together with Black and White Cabs provide eight Personalised Public transport routes around Brisbane.

Aspley Bald Hills Carindale Hills Calamvale Drewvale Hemmant Karana Downs Wynnum Manly

Aspley

This service runs Monday to Friday, except for public and school holidays.

• the first trip departs from Bangalow Street at the intersection of Albany Creek Road then travels in an anti-clockwise loop via Trouts and Albany Creek Road to Aspley Hypermarket. Subsequent trips run on a continuous loop basis
• in the afternoon, the first service leaves the Aspley Hypermarket with later trips running to Bangalow Street on an anti-clockwise continuous loop basis

Bald Hills

This service runs Monday to Friday, except public holidays.

• the first trip departs from Bald Hills Road at the intersection of Godfrey Street then travels in a clockwise loop to Cullimore Street to set down outside the railway station. Subsequent trips run on a continuous loop basis
• in the afternoon, the first service leaves the Bald Hills railway station with subsequent trips running on an anti-clockwise continuous loop basis

Carindale Hills

This service runs Monday to Friday, except public holidays.

• the first trip departs from Royal Court then travels in a clockwise direction through Clearmount Crescent, then via Greendale Way, Scrub Road, Old Cleveland Road to the Carindale Bus Interchange. Subsequent trips run on a continuous loop basis
• in the afternoon, the first service departs the Carindale Bus Interchange, then via Carindale Street, Millenium Boulevard, Old Cleveland Road, Scrub Road, Greendale Way to set down via the Clearmount Crescent and Royal Court loop then back to Carindale. Subsequent trips run on a continuous loop basis

Calamvale

This service runs Monday to Friday, except for public and school holidays.

• the morning trip departs from Linaria Court then travels via Tamarisk Way, Illaweena Street, Gowan Road, Honeysuckle Way, Beaudesert Road then back via Kameruka Street to return
• the afternoon service leaves Stretton College on Gowan Road travelling via the same route as the morning service

Drewvale

This service runs Monday to Friday, except for school and public holidays.

• the first trip in the morning departs from Grand Plaza Shopping Centre then travels via Browns Plains Road, Beaudesert Road, Trinity Way, Colombus Circuit, Buckley Drive, Macquarie Way, Wembley Road and Illaweena Street to the 130 BUZ stop. This service then departs from the 130 BUZ stop and travels via Wembley Road, Macquarie Way, Buckley Drive, Columbus Circuit, Trinity Way, Beaudesert Road, Browns Plains Road and terminates at the Grand Plaza Shopping Centre. Subsequent trips run on a continuous loop basis
• in the afternoon, the first service departs the 130 BUZ stop at Illaweena Street travelling via the same route as the morning service, with subsequent trips running on a continuous loop basis

Drewvale PPT route and timetable (PDF - 254kb)

Hemmant

This service runs Monday to Friday, except for public and school holidays.

• the first trip departs from Wynnum Plaza then travels via Wynnum Road, past the Brisbane Bayside State College, Kianawah Road, Glenwood Place, Padbury Street, Youngs Road, Hemmant and Tingalpa Roads, Pinnibar Street, Oswald Street and Doughboy Parade to the Hemmant Railway Station. On return, the trip travels via Kianawah Road, Ropley Road, Wynnum Road, Randall Road, then Plaza Street to Wynnum Plaza.  Subsequent trips run on a continuous loop basis
• in the afternoon, the first service at 3pm leaves the Wynnum West State School. All subsequent trips leave the Hemmant Railway Station travelling via the same route as the morning service with subsequent trips running on a continuous loop basis

Karana Downs 

This service runs Monday to Saturday, except public holidays.

• the first trip leaves from Mt Crosby Road past Tanderra Way, then via an anti-clockwise loop to College Road, Karana Downs Golf Club, College Road, Tanderra Way, Mt Crosby Road, Hawkesbury Road, Sugars Road, Kangaroo Gully Road, Moggill Road (including Moggill State School) to the Bellbowrie bus stop, then back to Karana Downs. Subsequent trips run on a continuous loop basis
• in the afternoon, the route is the same as the morning, but the first few afternoon trips wait at the Moggill State School, Monday to Friday. The later afternoon services wait near the Bellbowrie bus stop for travellers from the 444 BUZ route. Leaving times are only a guide

Wynnum - Manly

This service runs Sunday only.

• the first trip departs from Wynnum Plaza then via Evelyn Road, Kianawah Road, Sibley Road, Wynnum North Road, Tingal Road, Edith Street, Wynnum Esplanade, Cambridge Parade, Mountjoy Terrace, Gordon Parade, Ernest Street, Royal Esplanade, Alexander Street, Booner Street, Hindes Street, Whites Road, Stannard Road, Preston Road back to Wynnum Plaza. Subsequent trips run on a continuous loop basis
