The Department of Transport and Main Roads is continuing work on the Houghton Highway Duplication Project at Clontarf Point. Intermittent lane closures are planned in non-peak periods. Safety improvement works at the intersection of Gatton-Helidon Road and Clear Street are being undertaken at Gatton. Traffic conditions have changed on the Hornibrook Esplanade at Clontarf. Access to the northern carpark of the old Hornibrook Bridge will be closed to all traffic. Riverview - Tessman Street on-ramp to the Ipswich Motorway (eastbound) At Riverview, Tessman Street on-ramp to the Ipswich Motorway (Brisbane bound) will change on Wednesday 11 November 2009. Motorists from Riverview travelling to the Ipswich Motorway (Brisbane bound) will need to access the motorway via McEwan Street and Station Road. Traffic signage is in place to direct motorists. Intersection improvement works are commencing at the Warrego Highway and Brisbane Valley Highway interchange at Blacksoil. The right-turn lane westbound from Warrego Highway onto Brisbane Valley Highway will be extended by 200 metres. Hornibrook Esplanade and Elizabeth Avenue at Clontarf Roadworks will be occurring overnight from Sunday 22 November to Thursday 26 November, weather permitting. These works are being carried out at night to minimise impacts on local traffic and businesses.
