Bands in Parks performs at Queensland Tennis Centre.
Allow yourself to be transported back to the dance halls of wartime with Brisbane Excelsior Band as they pay tribute to the songs that comforted those separated from their loved ones through wars and then a global pandemic. In a salute to the music of wartime, enjoy a twilight concert of hits from The Homefront, with music from the swing era of Glen Miller and Duke Ellington along with the big brass sounds of popular military marches and troupe favourites.
The café and bar will be open so enjoy your music with a drink and a meal. Please note there is no BYO to this event.
