Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents Organ Music for the Soul.
Sydney’s City Organist, Titus Grenyer, presents an organ recital for the musical soul. Combining a love for sharing accessible music with a daring interpretation of conventional organ repertoire, this program extends the meaning of an organ recital with transcriptions of famous music, alongside works of old masters rarely heard on the organ.
The organ of the Brisbane City Hall will come alive with the colour and verve of Titus’ performance and desire to communicate with the soul. Titus is one of Australia’s leading young organists, as well as the Director of Music at Our Lady of Dolours in Chatswood. An active teacher, conductor and composer, Titus will also perform his own music in the program, bringing organ repertoire into the 21st century.
This Lord Mayor's City Hall Concert is produced by Evolution Productions.
