Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, education facilities, bookshops, and homes. Now in its 24<sup>th</sup> year, it is a colourful, vibrant, fun event that aims to promote the value of reading and literacy with some of our youngest readers. Dress in your favourite shades of blue and join our librarians as they read this year&rsquo;s book <strong><em>Bowerbird Blues</em></strong> by Aura Parker.
