Look no further than the Brisbane Domestic and Family Violence Forum 2024! This one-day forum, hosted at Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre in South Brisbane, aims to increase people’s knowledge of, and relationships with, the domestic and family violence services and programs available across the Brisbane region. It's great for workers new to the sector wanting to map the landscape, those working in allied community services who may need to support victim-survivors of violence, or experienced workers looking for a networking and learning opportunity. The agenda will incorporate short service presentations, keynote speakers, and a series of specialist workshop sessions to explore the continuum of actions under the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032: prevention, early intervention, response, and recovery and healing. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn, network, and make a difference! This event is hosted by Women's Health and Equality Queensland, with generous support from our major sponsors; Brisbane City Council and Brisbane Domestic Violence Service.
