Brisbane City Council wishes to advise of changed traffic conditions on Lytton Road, East Brisbane from 5am Saturday 15 December to 5am Monday 17 December:
- Lytton Road, between Heidelberg Street and Gillan Street, will be reduced to a single lane in each direction
- Scanlan Street, approaching the intersection of Lytton Road, will be left-out only (access from Lytton Road into Scanlan Street will remain available from both directions)
- Laidlaw Parade at the intersection of Lytton Road will be closed to traffic
- Walter Avenue at the intersection of Lytton Road will be closed to traffic.
Signage and traffic controllers will be in place to direct motorists, and local access will be maintained for residents and businesses.
These temporary traffic changes are required to help deliver the Wynnum Road corridor upgrade, which will improve safety, travel times and road capacity on this crucial link road, helping residents get home quicker and safer.
