Asia Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors' Forum

An initiative of Brisbane City Council, the Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS) and Mayors' Forum drives economic growth for Brisbane, South East Queensland, Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region. Held biennially, the host city alternates between Brisbane and bidding international cities.

The APCS has become one of the region's premier business and civic forums, providing a platform for governments and businesses to identify a common agenda, improve city governance and promote trade and investments opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.

2017APCS

The 2017 Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS) and Mayors’ Forum will be held in Brisbane’s sister city Daejeon, South Korea from 10-13 September 2017.

APCS will transform Daejeon into a global meeting place for the Asia Pacific region. Key decision makers, government and business leaders, and industry experts will meet over four days to share their knowledge and experience, build new connections and strengthen existing ties under the 2017APCS theme of 'Shaping the Future of the Asia Pacific'.

As the ‘Silicon Valley of Korea’ and a thriving hi-tech and research and development city, Daejeon will offer significant commercial and networking opportunities to attendees.  Both the Meet@ APCS Business Program as well as APCS Market Square - an exhibition and networking hub, will enhance opportunities for delegates to expand their contacts and drive commercial growth. The esteemed Mayors’ Forum will also bring together Mayors from around the world to share their insights and actively drive the Asia Pacific regional dialogue.
