Brisbane Innovate 2017 is on Friday 20 October at Brisbane City Hall and aims to inspire innovative solutions to ensure Brisbane will meet the needs of future generations. The event is free and consists of a keynote speech and panel event in the morning followed by an application-only roundtable brainstorming session.
Applications for the roundtable brainstorming sessions are now open. Register your interest before 15 September. Tickets for the keynote and panel events will be available from mid-September.
Brisbane Innovate uses Council’s Open Innovation Process to engage with the collective wisdom of individuals, businesses (small and large), entrepreneurs, students, academics and government (council) representatives to solve problems. This process aims to produce more innovative solutions than what would be produced through a traditional tender process.
