Access and submit tenders

After you have registered and logged into the Supplier Portal, you can access the Request documents and submit your own tenders.

Access a tender

To access a tender you must first register your interest in the particular tender you wish to access.

  1. Log in to the Supplier Portal using one of these options:
    • Option 1: Existing Supplier Account - if you have an existing supplier account, enter your user ID and password and select Login
    • Option 2: New Supplier - you need to have a supplier account to be able to download tenders. Select the Register as a new supplier link and create your account
  2. Once logged in, select the RFx and Auctions tab, then select the tender you want to access (you may need to search for this tender).
  3. Once you select the RFx, you will be taken to the response screen. There you can review the Request documents and determine if you want to participate by selecting either Participate, Do Not Participate or Tentative.

Submit a tender

To submit a tender you must have already registered your interest in the tender you wish to access.

  1. Log in to the Supplier Portal using one of these options:
    • Option 1: Existing Supplier Account - if you have an existing supplier account, enter your user ID and password and select Login
    • Option 2: New Supplier - you need to have a supplier account to be able to submit tenders. Select the Register as a new supplier here link and create your account
  2. Once logged in, select the RFx and Auctions tab, then select the tender you want to provide a response to (you may need to search for this tender).
  3. Select Create Response.
  4. Complete your tender response, remembering to select Save periodically.
  5. When you are satisfied with your response, select Submit.
  6. Note that for many RFx responses you will have the option of editing your response.
  7. You do this by selecting Edit, then making the required changes before selecting Submit again.

Once Council has received all responses and the submission deadline has passed, they will evaluate the tenders. This process can take from six weeks to six months depending on the complexity of the tender and the number of responses received.
