Higher than predicted tides expected 31 January to 4 February
Higher than predicted high tides may be experienced in foreshore (low-lying areas near the coast) and riverside locations from 31 January to 4 February.
These high tides will be similar to those experienced in December 2025.
Minor localised flooding may be experienced in bayside, riverside, and low-lying parts of nearby suburbs.
Areas connected to foreshore, and tide-affected areas of the river, creeks and other waterways may also be affected.
Residents in areas prone to localised flooding due to high tides are advised to take appropriate precautions and avoid parking their cars on the street during these times.
Please note that residents in tidal flood areas who are signed up for Brisbane Severe Weather Alerts can expect to also receive creek flood alerts during higher than predicted high tides.
