Technical help for online applications

How do I change my password?

You can change your password in your candidate profile screen. If you have forgotten your password, simply follow the instructions on the sign-in screen.

What if I don’t have an email address?

To apply for a Council job you require an email address - this is your unique identifier and you are unable to apply without one. If you don't have an email address, you can create an account using any number of free services available such as Hotmail or Yahoo.

I am trying to create a login by entering my email address, but the system is telling me an account has already been found with this email address. What should I do?

If you get this message it means that the email address is already present within our database. If you have created a previous account with Council, but cannot remember your password, select 'Forgot your Password' to log in again.

What if I want to withdraw my application?

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click on 'job management'.
  3. Go to 'jobs applied'.
  4. From the drop down options under 'actions', select 'withdraw application'. You will be prompted to confirm this action. Once confirmed, your application is withdrawn.

Why can't I update my CV or application once it has been submitted?

Once your application has commenced processing, you are unable to update your CV or application.
