We've got the must-do list for this year's BrisAsia Festival. Get ready Brisbane!

Brisbane turns up the volume on culture! From 13–22 February 2026, BrisAsia Festival returns, transforming Brisbane into a kaleidoscope of Asian art, food, and culture.

For 10 action-packed days, dive into 28 incredible events spread across 17 suburbs, the city, and online. Enjoy live performances, street parties, workshops, and more, with many of them free or low-cost, so everyone can join the fun.

This year’s program has 10 new events at venues across Brisbane to entertain people of all ages.

From music and dance to comedy and cultural traditions, here are 5 unmissable shows you need to experience.

1. ON:STAGE K-pop Showcase

Date: Saturday 14 February, 4-5.30pm and 6.30-8pm
Price: from $20

Feel the energy as Brisbane embraces the global K-Pop phenomenon! Expect amazing dance routines, lively performances, and workshops. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be a trainee, come and learn the moves yourself. 

2. BrisAsia Comedy Gala

Date: Saturday 14 February, 7.30-9.15pm
Price: from $44.90

Laugh the night away at the inaugural Comedy Gala featuring some of Australia’s top Asian-Australian comedians. Smart, funny, and full of cultural insights, this is one show you won’t forget.

3. Lunar Soul Party

Date and time: Tuesday 17 February, 6-10pm
Price: $130

The hottest Lunar New Year party in town, immerse yourself in a soulful fusion of music, art, and food at the Thomas Dixon Centre. This event is a feast for the senses. It features neo-soul DJ sets, Chinese opera vocals, hip-hop beats, and pan-Asian cuisine.

4. Lunar New Year in the Gardens

Date and time: Sunday 15 February, 4-6pm
Price: Free

Join the Year of the Horse celebration at Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens. Enjoy lion dances, martial arts, traditional music, and cultural crafts. A family-friendly event that’s as relaxing as it is festive. Hosted by ABC presenters Kelly Higgins-Devine and Ashwin Segkar.

5. BrisAsia Dance Battles - Radikal Forze Jam Finals

Date and time: Sunday 22 February, 4-7pm
Price: Free

Watch the best local, national, and international dancers compete in an exciting dance battle final at Queen Street Mall. Hip-hop, popping, and open-style crews will bring raw talent and energy to the heart of the city during this packed-out event.
