
It's the most wonderful time of the year...to go shopping. Whether you like to tick off your Christmas gift list early, or you're notorious for leaving it to the last minute, we've got you covered.
Brisbane has loads of festive-themed markets to fill everyone's stocking. Here are some to get you started.
Shop local and support handmade under the glow of City Hall at the BrisStyle Twilight Markets. Between 4-9pm on Friday 15 December, King George Square will transform into a bustling marketplace featuring handcrafted treasures, twinkling lights and festive cheer.
Plant lovers, rejoice! Yeerongpilly's Plant Empire Christmas Market is a must do this festive season. Browse 60 stalls on Sunday 3 December from 9am-1pm. You'll find plants, pots, ceramics, art, fashion, jewellery, coffee, food and entertainment.
The eye-catching Gasworks Plaza precinct will transform into a shopper's paradise from 5-9pm on Saturday 9 December witht the Gasworks Christmas Design Markets. Think fashion, art, vintage goods, homewares, plants, pots, ceramics, skincare and more. With so much to choose from, you'll be sure to find the perfect gift (and maybe even something for yourself).
Head to the Sandgate Town Centre to entertain the kids while you browse the shops and markets at Jingle All The Bay on Saturday 2 December between 3-9pm. The free festivities include a Christmas street parade, live music, dances, kids workshops, a train ride and an animal farm. There'll be food stalls to fill up on festive fare and the big man in red (aka Santa Claus) will also be stopping by for a photo on Bowser Parade.
On Saturday 2 December get jingly and sleigh the night away at the Nundah Christmas Twilight Market on Station Street. Festivities kick-off at 4pm with kids activities and entertainment, gourmet eats, Santa photos, music, handmade market stalls and even a pop-up bar for the grown-ups.
The Milton Christmas Twilight Markets will be dishing out plenty of seasonal cheer on Saturday 25 November from 4pm. Stuff more than just your stocking as you dine on an array of local, festive and international cuisine. Snap a selfie with Santa, pick up a present from one of the bespoke makers or tipple in some festive 'cheer' at the pop-up bar.
VEND Marketplace Annerley is Brisbane's newest and biggest permanent indoor market. To celebrate the festival season, VEND is hosting a Christmas Twilight Pop Up Market on Saturday 2 December from 4-9pm with car park Christmas stalls, free face painting, a cocktail bar and professional photo booth, in addition to the 120 local businesses trading in the indoor marketplace.
