2020 Future BNE Challenge
The Future BNE Challenge is a two-part immersive, interactive and future-thinking learning experience for Year 7 students. During this challenge, students evaluate local and global environmental challenges, re-imagine a Brisbane in year 2100, and create and design solutions to ensure our city is prepared, resilient, adaptable and sustainable now and into the future.
This year, Brisbane City Council's environmental educators will deliver the program as an in-school learning experience. Teachers will also receive a list of activities to reinforce learning objectives.
This program is linked to the Australian Curriculum and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education.
Register your school for the 2020 program by completing our online form and selecting 'Future BNE Challenge' from the drop-down list.
All registered schools that complete the program will go into a draw for a school prize of up to $500.
