About the project

The works involved relocating sand from the low tide area of Cowan Cowan beach to an 850-metre section of eroded foreshore in front of the Cowan Cowan township.

Earthmoving equipment was used to relocate the sand.

Council would like to thank the community for their patience while these important works were undertaken.
