Changes to Council community halls

Brisbane City Council wishes to advise that all community halls will operate in line with today’s new health direction from the State Government, to ensure the safety of staff and visitors.

As such, hirers of Council’s community halls will be required to ensure there are no more than 10 people gathered together, unless the hirer undertakes their activity in accordance with a relevant COVIDSafe industry plan.

Council officers are in the process of contacting customers who have current bookings, however if residents are concerned or are wanting to follow-up on their booking, they should contact Council on 07 3403 8888.

We encourage all residents to continue to practice safe social distancing and hygiene while using Council facilities and participating in Council events.

Brisbane City Council is working closely with the Australian Government and Queensland Health and is following their expert health advice to help minimise the transmission of coronavirus.
