COVID-19 vaccination status direction for Council facilities and venues

The following Queensland Government directions are in place for Brisbane City Council facilities and venues.

Venues/tourism experiences where only fully vaccinated visitors and staff, or those with a medical contraindication, are permitted to enter and remain, including:

  • Museum of Brisbane
  • Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium
  • Riverstage
  • Brisbane Greeters Program.

Venues where unvaccinated visitors and staff are permitted to enter and remain, however other Public Health and Social Measures may be required, including:

  • Libraries
  • Pools
  • Non-ticketed outdoor community events such as Outdoor Cinemas
  • Active and Healthy events
  • Golf courses (unvaccinated visitors are not able to enter clubhouse for a meal)
  • Community facilities, including community halls (density limits will continue to apply)
  • City Hall (is considered a multi-purpose venue under the Public Health Direction, relevant rules apply to each area of the venue based on the use of that area)
  • Cemeteries
  • Waste facilities.
