Active and Healthy program expands participant numbers

Brisbane City Council wishes to advise more participants can attend Active and Healthy program sessions from 1 June, with enhanced safety and social distancing measures in place.

To ensure the safety of staff and participants, and to abide by State Government regulations, all sessions will be capped at a maximum of 20 people, excluding the provider(s). Bookings are therefore essential for all Active and Healthy sessions until further notice and can be made via the booking information listed on Council’s What’s On calendar.

Council continues to offer a digital neighbourhood of experiences and activities on its website, so people who choose to stay home can still access fitness tips and a range of lifestyle information.

Brisbane City Council is working closely with the Australian Government and Queensland Health and is following their expert health advice to help minimise the transmission of coronavirus.

As updates are available, they will be included on our Coronavirus: Council updates and impacts page. For more information phone Council on (07) 3403 8888.
