Further temporary changes to funeral services

Brisbane City Council wishes to advise that all services at Council’s Cemeteries and Crematoriums will have a reduced attendee capacity from 26 March 2020 until further notice, as a precautionary measure to help slow the spread of coronavirus.

Council’s funeral services will now cater to a maximum of 10 attendees per service.

In addition, Council will commence offering the option of live streaming chapel services to invited parties.

Catering will not be available for services through this time.

For more information on closures call Council on (07) 3403 8888.

Brisbane City Council is working closely with Queensland Health and the Australian Government and will continue to be guided by these agencies on all matters of public health. Any further updates to our services and facilities will be provided when available.
