Healthy and Physical Activity Grants 2018-19 recipients
The following Healthy and Physical Activity Grant projects were approved in 2018-19.
Successful recipients receive funding for projects to increase participation in community sport, recreation and physical activity in Brisbane.

|Brisbane Bears-Fitzroy Football Club Limited||A program to engage females aged between 12 and 16 and teach them the basics of Australian football league||$17,500|
|Brisbane Mens' And Womens' Basketball Association Incorporated||A program to introduce girls aged between seven and 12 to the simple fundamentals of basketball in a fun, positive, non-competitive environment||$20,000|
|Brisbane Youth Service Inc (auspice for Bring A Plate Pty Ltd)||A 10-week dance and wellbeing program for LGBTIQAP+ identifying young people aged between 12 and 25 and their support workers, family and friends||$5900|
|Help Enterprises Limited||A tennis program for people with disability to be introduced to tennis as a healthy and physical activity||$10,169.70|
|Sandgate and Bracken Ridge Action Group Incorporated||An inclusive community dance program offering workshops and events throughout the year||$11,440|
|Souths Junior Cricket Club Inc.||An entry level modified cricket program for boys and girls aged between six and 12||$5,578.10|
|Welcome Sports Ltd.||A pre-season skill building training and development football program engaging 80 female football players, including 40 female refugee and migrant players||$10,000|
